In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea urged Acting President Choi Sang-mok to quickly introduce and promulgate the second civil war independent counsel law, which passed the National Assembly yesterday.

Spokesperson Kim Sung-hoe said, "It is clear that the National Assembly has exceeded its authority to demand reconsideration, or veto, of the special prosecution law, which was legally passed by the National Assembly, because of the parliamentary discussion process."

He then argued that the special prosecution bill, which was passed this time, was revised by accepting the people's demands for power, and that all the matters raised by Choi at the time of the first request for reconsideration of the special prosecution law were resolved.
