U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will re-enter Washington DC ahead of his inauguration and attend receptions and fireworks events.

Trump boarded an Air Force plane traveling from Palm Beach, home to Dulles Airport in Virginia, near Washington, DC, where his home Mar-a-Lago resort is located.

Reuters reported that Trump will attend Reshubsen and fireworks events with 500 sponsors and enjoy performances by Elvis Presley impersonators and an opera singer who will sing the national anthem at the inauguration.

Trump will visit Arlington National Cemetery during the day before his inauguration, lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, attend a "Maga Victory Rally" at a 20,000-seat indoor stadium and have a private dinner.

Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president in the central hall of the Capitol during the day of his inauguration.

The inauguration was scheduled to take place on an outdoor stage outside the Capitol, but it was changed to indoors due to the Arctic cold wave.

The central hall, the rotunda, can only accommodate 600 people, making it unclear how the actual inauguration will take place, the Associated Press said.

Earlier, 250,000 tickets were distributed to enter and exit the Capitol grounds at the outdoor inauguration ceremony.

Meanwhile, the Inauguration Preparatory Committee said Nelly, a famous hip-hop singer, will perform at a ball on the evening of the Inauguration Day.
