He also introduced, "We have been tasked with talking about the Inflation Reduction Act and the Semiconductor Act so that our companies can make investments in the United States without suffering damage."
He added, "There will be a lot of concerns about the situation in Korea, but I will convey the position that Korea will recover quickly and do everything stably in accordance with the constitutional procedure."
Regarding the issuance of an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol, he emphasized, "Although it is an acting system, it is a country that operates state affairs in a stable manner according to the constitutional system, and Korea has overcome many trials and difficulties."
Seven members of the external committee are scheduled to attend the inauguration ceremony, including Kim Ki-hyun, In Yo-han, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Cho Jung-sik, Kim Young-bae and Hong Ki-won of the Democratic Party of Korea.
During their visit to the U.S., they will meet with Senator Andy Kim, who is of Korean descent, Representative Young Kim, and Michael McCall, former chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Members of the People's Power Cho Jung-hoon, Kim Dae-sik, Na Kyung-won, and Kang Min-guk also plan to attend Trump's inauguration ceremony as members of the U.S. diplomatic corps organized at the party level.
In addition, Kim Eun-hye, a member of the People's Power, visited the U.S. and contacted Trump, and Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok also arrived in the U.S. to attend the inauguration ceremony.
Mayor Yoo met with reporters and said, "I will meet with politicians in the Senate and House of Representatives and tell them that Korea is experiencing confusion and difficulties in state affairs, but it is a matter to be solved with national wisdom and capabilities."
