Acting Chief Minister Choi Sang-mok said, "Illegal violence, strict investigation and legal responsibility shall be held in accordance with laws and principles."

Acting President Choi Sang-mok expressed strong regret over the illegal violence that is hard to imagine in a democratic society in connection with the violence at the Seoul Western District Court.

At the same time, a special order was issued to the National Police Agency regarding the violence.

The police stressed that they will strictly investigate and hold corresponding legal responsibility in accordance with laws and principles for the incident, which has directly damaged democracy and the rule of law.

He also ordered strengthening security for related facilities and thoroughly managing safe rallies so that order can be maintained strictly in various protests.
