President Yoon is the first incumbent president to be arrested in constitutional history so far, but five presidents have been arrested in total, including the former.

The first president to be arrested in constitutional history, both former and incumbent, was former President Roh Tae-woo, who was arrested on November 16, 1995.
Former President Roh, who retired in 1993, was arrested on charges of taking 235.9 billion won in bribes from 30 businessmen when he was in office.17 days after former President Roh's arrest
Former President Chun Doo-hwan was detained and imprisoned at Anyang Prison on charges of military revolt and slush funds on December 12.
After notifying the prosecution of the summons, the former president made a public statement in front of his home in Yeonhui-dong, Seoul, went down to his hometown of Hapcheon, Gyeongsangnam-do, and was arrested after arrest.
The two former presidents Chun Doo-hwan and Roh Tae-woo were sentenced to life imprisonment and 17 years in prison, respectively, but were granted special pardons and served two years in prison.
Prior to his arrest, former President Park Geun Hye was sentenced to dismissal in the impeachment trial of the Constitutional Court on March 10, 2017, and was detained and imprisoned in the Seoul Detention Center as a former president.
Former President Lee Myung Bak was issued an arrest warrant in March of that year as the prosecution's investigation resumed in 2018 into allegations of corruption, including DAS and BBK, which arose during the 2007 presidential race.Former President
