The Democratic Party of Korea criticized the people's power as a "watering" for claiming that the same standard should be applied to Lee Jae-myung after the arrest of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

A party official told reporters at the National Assembly, "If you have nothing to say, you can do it, but it's not logical."

The opposition leader then rejected the idea of not being involved in the civil war, saying, "Did you refuse to attend the trial or summon the investigative agency?"
