Kwon Young-se "Violence is not justified by any justification...Increasing social chaos"

Kwon Young-se, chairman of the People's Power Emergency Response Committee, criticized the attack on the Seoul Western District Court by supporters of President Yoon Suk Yeol, saying that if violence is used to carry out their claims, it cannot be justified under any pretext.

Chairman Kwon pointed out at the emergency committee that he knows the problems of the judicial process and why the people are angry, but if he uses violent methods, he weakens his legitimacy and adds to social chaos.

However, Chairman Kwon said, "The police ordered that citizens who were caught outside without entering the court should never be released," and argued that if they were protesters of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, they would have released them in a friendly manner earlier.

He then emphasized that what is needed now is not a mad witch hunt, but to accurately grasp and get to the bottom of the situation, and to overcome national confusion in a calm and mature manner.
