People's Power "Democrats, Police, and Airborne Administration Encouraged to provide a clue"
Strong supporters who protested the arrest of President Yoon Suk Yeol condemned the disturbance caused by the Seoul Western District Court, saying it was a behavior that denied democracy and the rule of law.
However, the Democratic Party of Korea pointed out that President Yoon and the ruling party are largely responsible, while the police and opposition parties are not responsible for the cause of the incident.

Please tell us in detail the ruling and opposition parties' positions at the party's meeting this morning about the unprecedented attack on the Western District Court.

Yes, the ruling and opposition parties shared one voice on the fact that violence cannot be justified over the rampage at the Seoul Western District Court.
However, there was a sharp disagreement between the cause and the subsequent measures.
First of all, Kwon Young-se, chairman of the emergency committee, said in a morning meeting of the emergency committee that he is well aware of why the people are angry, but pointed out that using violent methods weakens legitimacy and only adds to social chaos.
At the same time, he appealed for support, asking for help as the people's power will take the lead in asking for issues.
Chairman Kwon, however, questioned the equity, saying that the police, who were a gentle sheep in the protest of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, showed a tough attitude toward citizens, and that if it were the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, it would have been released earlier.
An official of People's Power asked back, "The Democratic Party has nothing to reflect on," in a phone call with YTN.
It is pointed out that encouraging the court and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit to investigate and arrest President Yoon as soon as possible was the beginning of the incident.
At the same time, he repeatedly raised controversy over fairness over the arrest of President Yoon, mentioning the trial of former lawmaker Cho Kuk and representative Lee Jae-myung without detention.
The Democratic Party of Korea also criticized the Western District Court's disturbance and urged an investigation into the forces behind it and the agitators.
Park Chan-dae, the floor leader, said, "It is a total denial of the national system and a challenge to the rule of law," urging all the people behind it and the agitating forces to punish them strictly.
At the same time, the power of the people also continued to deny the judiciary's judgment and drive it illegal, inciting supporters.
In particular, there was an offensive against Baekgol-dan and Yoon Sang-hyun, who allowed former lawmaker Kim Min-won of the People's Power to hold a press conference at the National Assembly, saying, "Those who cross the wall will soon be disbarred."
Yoon Gun-young of the Democratic Party pointed out on YTN radio that it was the people's power lawmakers who interfered with the police and public power in front of Hannam-dong's official residence, rather encouraging riots.Regarding the arrest of President
Yoon, President Lee Jae-myung refuted that it cannot be compared, saying that Lee Jae-myung is a "crime of defiance" that is considered to be discarded, and President Yoon is a suspect in the "crime of rebellion" that is the death penalty.
Separately, the ruling party requested that Acting President Choi Sang-mok exercise his right to request reconsideration on the "third party recommendation" independent counsel law passed last week,
The
Democratic Party pressed Choi to accept the special prosecution law and to complete the process of requesting a permanent special prosecutor recommendation.

A standing committee was also held today in connection with this, right?
[Reporter]
Yes, today, the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee, which is in charge of the prosecution, the court, and the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit, and the National Assembly Public Administration and Security Committee, which is in charge of the police, will hold a questionnaire.
The plan is to check the damage of the disturbance and see if there were any problems with the police and others' response.
However, it seems that there will also be a battle over the arrest of President Yoon and the Special Prosecutor Act.
In the Judiciary Committee, which just started at 10 o'clock,
suggests that the ruling party expand investigative charges against the incumbent president, targeting representative Kim Jae-myung,
In the
opposition party, President Yoon raised concerns that his supporters could cause unrest at the Seoul detention center and demanded an answer from the head of the correctional headquarters.
From 2 p.m., the executive committee will be held, and the battle for responsibility for the disturbance is expected to continue again.
