The High-ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Agency will hold a personnel committee to hire three senior prosecutors and five rank-and-file prosecutors at the Gwacheon Government Complex this afternoon (20th).

The HR committee is in accordance with the recruitment process that has been underway since last year, and Senior Civil Servant Corruption Officer Oh Dong-woon will also attend.

As President Yoon Suk Yeol has been suspended from office, acting President Choi Sang-mok is expected to decide whether to appoint candidates if the HR committee recommends candidates for recruitment.

Under the Corruption Investigations Unit Act, the number of prosecutors is 25, including a wife and a deputy director, but the current number of prosecutors is only 14, including one who is on leave.
