The power of the people sends heartfelt congratulations on the inauguration of U.S. President Trump, saying he hopes it will be a turning point in strengthening the Korea-U.S. alliance and peace on the Korean Peninsula.

"The Korea-U.S. alliance is an irreplaceable and valuable asset because it is a blood alliance formed in blood against illegal Invasion from North Korea by communist forces," Kwon Sung-dong, the party's floor leader, told the emergency committee meeting.

Kim Sang-hoon, chairman of the policy committee, stressed that the National Assembly should reassure the people through cooperation and legislation, including the Special Act on the Semiconductor Industry, referring to the findings that the Trump administration's protectionist policies could reduce domestic exports.

Regarding Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung's emphasis on diplomacy and security strategies based on the Korea-U.S. alliance, the Democratic Party of Korea criticized the Yoon Suk Yeol government's cooperation-oriented diplomacy, saying that it wants to ask again whether the Democratic Party is qualified to talk about security.
