Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy celebrated Trump's inauguration in a video address and welcomed the opportunity to achieve peace in his country.
Also, he said, "I wish President Trump success," and praised President Trump as a "strong man" who can provide the momentum needed to push for peace efforts.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also wrote in X that "Canada and the United States have an opportunity to work together again for both countries, to create more jobs and prosperity."
"With President Trump's return, we will accelerate defense spending and production," said NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutter, who is under pressure to increase defense spending. "We can achieve peace together through strength and through NATO."
"When together, our society can achieve greater prosperity and strengthen common security," European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also said via X.
"I am confident that we will continue to strengthen our partnership between the two countries to tackle global challenges together and build a future of prosperity and security for our people," said Italian Prime Minister Jorja Meloni, who attended the inauguration in person.

"The United States is our main strategic partner and ally," Finnish President Alexander Stubb also said, adding that he looks forward to close cooperation during Trump's presidency.
French President Emmanuel Macron did not deliver a separate congratulatory message for his inauguration.
However, he said during a visit to a front-line military unit that the launch of Trump's second term was "an opportunity for strategic awakening in Europe."
"If our U.S. ally withdraws warships from the Mediterranean, if we send fighters from the Atlantic to the Pacific, what should we do in Europe tomorrow," Macron said, stressing that France and Europe must adapt to evolving threats and changing interests.
President Macron has been calling for self-defense, saying Europe's dependence on the U.S. for security should be reduced and its own defense capabilities should be strengthened.
Turkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the issue of an early end to the war in 우, which Trump has been referring to all along, would be "on the agenda of our talks," adding, "We need to solve this problem as soon as possible."
"I hope President Trump's second term will benefit all mankind," he said.
