Park said at the floor meeting that there are predictions that Choi will exercise his right to request reconsideration, or veto, in the "Civil War Special Counsel Act."

He then rejected the independent counsel law, which largely accepted the people's demand for power, arguing that unconditionally demanding agreement between the ruling and opposition parties is a serious violation of the legislative power of the National Assembly and an anti-democratic riot.

He also criticized the prosecution's rejection of the arrest warrant for Kim Sung-hoon, the deputy head of the bodyguard, saying, "I have strong doubts about trying to cover up the civil war investigation," and that the prosecution will be doomed to disappear like a powder.
