A special parliamentary investigation committee to find out the truth about the alleged civil war in the Yoon Suk Yeol government visited the bunker of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Capital Defense Command.

Kim Sung-won of the People's Power and Han Byung-do of the Democratic Party of Korea, who are secretaries of the ruling and opposition parties of the special committee, said at a press conference at the National Assembly that there was a situation in which about 50 people were considered to be detained in an underground bunker during martial law.

He then explained that 14 people, including National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik, Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung, and People's Power Han Dong-hoon, were listed as key figures subject to arrest and detention, but more people were confirmed to have been reviewed.

At the time of Yeo In-hyeong, the counterintelligence commander called the head of the military intelligence investigation office to order whether more than 50 people could be detained, but it was not finally used as a detention facility because it was not appropriate.

The ruling and opposition parties engaged in a war of nerves over the issue of Yoon Suk Yeol's attendance as a witness ahead of the first hearing of the special committee tomorrow (22nd).

The Democratic Party of Korea said it would visit the detention center in person to investigate the truth if he did not attend, and Kim Eo-jun, a broadcaster who delivered a report of "alarm" at the National Assembly-related standing committee, also stressed that he needs to attend.
