Five opposition parties, including the Democratic Party of Korea, submitted a resolution calling for the expulsion of Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People's Power, who said that the current offenders who were arrested by the court during the review of the Yoon Suk Yeol presidential arrest warrant would be disciplined.

In a resolution submitted to the National Assembly, the opposition argued that Yoon's remarks at the time served as a logic to justify the court raid, acting as a catalyst for the protesters to turn into rioters.

He also pointed out that the 90 people arrested for participating in the riot committed serious crimes such as civil war or disturbance under the criminal law, and that lawmaker Yoon should take responsibility for defending and inspiring them.
