The U.S. Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported on the 21st (local time) that members of the 95th Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured a North Korean soldier who fell injured, citing a video posted on the Telegram channel.
A member of the airborne unit said he thought he was a Ukrainian soldier at first, but he did not answer when he spoke to him in Russian, English and Ukrainian. He also said he had sausages for food, including weapons such as grenades and knives.
The North Korean military is said to have received medical and food aid from the Ukrainian military after the capture.
He also asked to play a movie with a love story and asked to change it to a Korean movie, saying he did not understand Ukrainian.
Ukraine's special operations forces are working to identify the North Korean military, the RFA said.
