Recently, as the temperature difference between day and night has increased, autumn leaves have begun to turn red on the highlands of Seoraksan Mountain in Gangwon-do.

The Seoraksan National Park Office said that the foliage gradually began to appear around Jungcheongbong Peak and Socheongbong Peak.

The first autumn leaves, which are 20% of the mountain, are expected to be colored early next month, and the peak is expected around the 20th.

Last year, the first autumn leaves of Mt. Seorak were observed on September 30, but this year, the unusual late heat seems to be slowing down the pace of the leaves.
