A person in his 20s who sold false sexual videos synthesizing faces of famous celebrities using Telegram messengers has been arrested.
They used overseas servers to boast to users that they would not be caught by the police, but they were eventually caught.
The car is a journalist.

It is a Telegram channel operated by Mr. A in his 20s until recently.
The names of the victims are listed on the left, and on the right are false sexual videos synthesizing the victims' faces.
Mr. A started operating the channel in July 2022.
We recruited users by collecting deepfake videos and pornography, as well as child sexual exploitation from overseas sites.
We created a free channel where only short videos can be viewed, and provided a dedicated channel to watch the entire video to paid members who paid so-called "admission fees."

More than 2,800 people watched the video on the Telegram channel operated by suspect A.
Among them, 450 people were found to have paid as little as 20,000 won and as much as 100,000 won to join the membership.
To avoid the investigation, the police said that the transaction was made with cultural gift certificates, and the profit A earned was about 50 million won.
Operator A recently promoted that his channel was safe even during the intense crackdown, but he could not avoid the investigation network.
The police have arrested A and are expanding the investigation to channel users.
