Hezbollah "destroyed three Israeli mercaba tanks"

Hezbollah claimed to have destroyed and repelled three Israeli tanks for the first time, amid fighting over the Israeli military's deployment on the ground in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah says it was the first to engage in intense fighting with Israeli forces that infiltrated the southern Lebanese town of Maroon Alas on Tuesday.

In the process, he claimed that "three Israeli mercaba tanks advancing toward the village were destroyed with rockets."

He also claimed that he retreated after fighting with Israeli infantry units trying to break into the southern town of Odeise early in the morning.

In this regard, the Israeli military also announced that eight people have been killed in Lebanon since the start of the ground war.
