The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul arrested four members of the Korean University Student Progressive Union who attempted to enter the presidential office in Yongsan at around 11:30 a.m. today (4th) on charges of breaking into a joint building.

They are accused of trying to enter the presidential office through the back door of the Ministry of National Defense, chanting slogans against President Yoon Suk Yeol's exercise of the right to demand reconsideration of the so-called "Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act."

Earlier, 20 members of the group were arrested in January after attempting to enter the presidential office, claiming that an independent counsel against Kim was needed.
