More than 20 palm tree houses have been reduced to ashes in a village in Liberalta, Benny, northern Bolivia.

Residents fled the burning house with some of their belongings and evacuated, and even though they tried to extinguish the fire themselves, it was not enough.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Authorities explained that as they cleared land to plant crops, the fire spread to drought, high temperatures and strong winds, leaving it out of control.

In Bolivia, wildfires have continued for months, destroying 7 million hectares of grasslands and primeval forests over the past three months, and on the 30th of last month, the president officially declared a state of national disaster.
