The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said on the 4th that rumpis skin was confirmed at a Korean beef farm in Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has sent an initial quarantine team and an epidemiological investigation team to the farm to prevent the spread of Rumpiskin to restrict access to the farm and conduct epidemiological investigations.

In addition, among the 81 cattle raised on the farm, cattle infected with Rumpiskin will be killed in accordance with the emergency action guidelines.

Including this case, the number of rumpees skin confirmed in livestock farms this year has increased to eight.

Rumpiskin is a viral disease that occurs mainly in cattle and is classified as a type 1 livestock infectious disease under the Livestock Infectious Disease Prevention Act.
