[Gyeonggi] 'RE100 Park' will be established at 4 abandoned stream sites, including Geumseokcheon Stream in Anseong.

Gyeonggi-do Province announced that it will create "RE100 Parks" in four places, Anseong, Yangpyeong, Gapyeong, and Paju, using the abandoned stream sites around the river.

The province has selected four places, including Geumseokcheon Stream in Anseong, Buancheon Stream in Yangpyeong, Sangdongcheon Stream in Gapyeong, and Masakcheon Stream in Paju, as target sites for the "RE100 Park" project and decided to install solar parking lots, streetlights, and benches.

The power produced is 100% covered by the park, and the remaining power is used to support the energy vulnerable or for the public interest of the surrounding area.

The province plans to complete the construction of four RE100 parks by December next year.
