Chun Dae-yup, head of the National Court Administration, responded to a related question from Kim Yong-min of the Democratic Party of Korea at the Supreme Court's parliamentary audit held at the National Assembly today (7th).
Representative Kim argued that Kim Dae-nam, a former presidential administrator, was employed by SGI Seoul Guarantee after he failed the nomination for the last general election, which constitutes Kim's "candidate acquisition."
In response, Minister Cheon replied that it was difficult to give a definitive word because he did not know the context, but that it did not seem appropriate.
Regarding Rep. Kwak Kyu-taek's criticism that the Democratic Party's representative Lee Jae-myung's trial is excessively delayed, he said it was not appropriate to talk about individual trials, but he said he was sorry that all trials should be conducted quickly and fairly, but they did not reach it.
However, he explained that the problem of delay in trial is being resolved little by little when looking at the number of long-term pending cases and long-term pending rates.
As for the cause of the delay in the trial, he pointed out that the biggest problem is that the number of judges has been tied up for 10 years while the difficulty of the case continues to rise.
