According to U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign pledge, the U.S. fiscal deficit will increase by an additional $7.5 trillion over 10 years and KRW 1 trillion 117 trillion in our money.

According to the Wall Street Journal on the 7th, the Responsible Federal Budget Committee (CRFB), a non-partisan non-profit organization in the United States, analyzed Trump's pledges and found that it increased the fiscal deficit faster than Democratic Vice President Harris' pledges.

The group analyzed that the deficit growth of Trump's pledge more than doubled compared to the expectation that Vice President Harris' pledge would bring about an additional deficit of $3.5 trillion and 4,722 trillion won in our money.

Former President Trump is advocating tax cuts, higher tariffs on foreign imports, expanded military spending and deportation of large numbers of immigrants, while Vice President Harris is advocating social welfare, middle-class tax cuts and higher taxes on businesses.

The current fiscal deficit in the United States exceeds $28.3 trillion, almost equivalent to the size of the economy. The ratio of U.S. debt to GDP is already at its highest since World War II due to an aging population and structural problems with high spending on tax revenue.
