The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education said that the number of schools using "high learning," an educational platform that supports teachers and students' teaching and learning processes based on artificial intelligence (AI), continues to increase.

According to the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, 491,607 students (33.4%) and 38,613 teachers (40.2%) use high learning in 2,581 schools, including elementary, middle and high schools and alternative educational institutions.

The utilization rate has continued to increase since 162 schools in September last year conducted a pilot operation for 4th graders in elementary school, 1st graders in middle school, and 1st graders in high school.

As the utilization rate increases, the provincial office of education is pushing for service advancement.

The recently introduced essay-type item diagnosis service provides appropriate evaluation and diagnosis when teachers design evaluation criteria for the problem in advance, including whether or not key words are included.

In addition, the learning mentoring AI chatbot function has been strengthened so that AI can analyze the learning status of individual students and provide real-time learning guidance accordingly.

The provincial education office plans to support the school site next year by expanding high-learning leading teachers and expanding training and capacity building programs to schools.
