According to a New York Times poll of 3,000 voters willing to vote nationwide, Vice President Harris led by 49% and former President Trump by 3%.
An earlier Yahoo News and Economist poll also found that Harris had a narrow 2%p and 3%p advantage over Trump, respectively.
Meanwhile, a New York Times poll in September showed Harris and Trump's approval rating tied at 47%.
