Taylor Swift wins 6.8 billion won in hurricane relief

Taylor Swift, the top pop star in the U.S., donated 5 million dollars and 6.8 billion won to relief efforts in hurricane-hit areas.

U.S. aid agency Feeding America said in a statement that it was "extremely grateful" to Taylor Swift and that the donations would go toward rebuilding affected areas and providing essential food, clean water and daily necessities.

Actors Blake Lively, known as Swift's best friends, and Ryan Reynolds, known for "Deadpool," also donated $1 million and W1.35 billion to the same organization.

Swift has donated to nonprofits several times during large-scale natural disasters or disasters.

It is also known that hundreds of thousands of meals have been donated to food banks in various regions where they have performed while conducting a world tour that began last year.
