The Ministry of Education said at a regular briefing today that it has extended the end of the audit from the 11th to the 21st due to the need for an investigation into the approval of the leave of absence at Seoul National University Medical School.
Regarding a series of criticisms that the audit of Seoul National University's medical school should be stopped, he said, "The return of students is the most important thing," and explained that he would have all conversations with Seoul National University.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs and Minister of Education Lee Ju-ho answered the question of whether to withdraw the audit of Seoul National University's medical school at the parliamentary audit on the 8th, with the intention of talking with all open eyes, and reaffirmed his position in media interviews.
However, the Education Ministry explained that it has not decided to withdraw the inspection of Seoul National University, saying that Lee's remarks will be open to students' return.
