According to statistics from the library's big data analysis platform "Library Information Naru" run by the National Library of Korea, the novel "I Don't Say Goodbye" released in 2021 ranked first in the book with a sharp rise in loans as of the previous day.
This is a tally of loans from 1,490 public libraries nationwide.
In particular, "I Don't Say Goodbye" was ranked 547th in the list of loan status for a week from the 30th of last month, but rose 544 places to third place on October 7-13.
Demand for loans seems to have increased significantly since the announcement of the Nobel Prize winner on the 10th.
One of Han Kang's masterpieces, "The Boy Is Coming," also showed a sharp rise in the weekly loan ranking from 206th to 2nd.
