A U.S. household goods company launched scented candles ahead of Thanksgiving and Christmas, but stopped selling them after facing criticism that the design on the outside reminded them of a white supremacist group.Paper snowflakes were drawn on the outside of scented candles by

{Bath and Body Works', which were pointed out online that they were similar to the white headscarf of the Ku Klux Klan, a white supremacist group, and KKK.

Bath and Body Works then apologized and withdrew the product from its website and retail stores.

Scented candles are the company's flagship product, especially holiday scented candles, accounting for nearly 40% of annual sales.
