The 26th Busan Metropolitan City Mayor's Sports Festival for the Disabled began its five-day schedule with the opening ceremony at Gangseo Gymnasium in Busan.

More than 4,500 people, including 700 players, will participate in the event, which will be held at eight venues, including Spoone and Sajik Ronball Stadium.

This year's competition will feature seven official events, including gateball and billiards, and 14 hands-on events, including boccia and wheelchair racing.
