An expert debate was held to examine the impact of the development of artificial intelligence technology on the media ecosystem.
The Media Future Vision Forum held a seminar yesterday (16th) afternoon at the Korea Press Center under the theme of 'How to Create an Ecosystem of Media Platforms in the AI Era'.
The event held a discussion to review the roles and functions of media in each area in time for rapid changes to artificial intelligence technology and multi-platforms.
Participants exchanged opinions on institutional support measures for domestic media platforms and policies necessary to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic OTT industry.
Koo Jong-sang, permanent representative of the Media Future Vision Forum, stressed that the National Assembly should revise existing legislation by specifying how various media platforms can develop using artificial intelligence technology.
