Rep. Park held a press conference and announced that she has proposed an amendment that would prevent her from conducting election-related polls again if she has a history of punishment for the Public Official Election Act or the Political Fund Act.
He then explained that it included not only the "act of publicizing or reporting" but also the "distortion act" itself to be subject to punishment.
He also added that Han Dong-hoon agreed that the poll should not be left distorted, so he proposed the bill with the party's theory.
The current law revokes institutional registration and restricts re-registration for one year if an election poll-related crime is committed, but it has been pointed out that there is a loophole that can avoid regulation due to closure and re-establishment.
