This afternoon (20th) there were a series of reports of flooding damage in the southwest coast area, where a storm surge warning was once issued.

In the coastal area of Jeollanam-do, where the first storm and tsunami warning was issued, five reports were received that houses, offices, and roads were filled with water by 6 p.m.

Subsequently, there were no reports in Jeollabuk-do and Chungcheongnam-do, where the special warning took effect, but fire authorities and police also controlled the passage of water-filled coastal roads.

No one was injured in the flooding.

Starting with Jeollanam-do in the afternoon, all storm surge specials, which were issued in the coastal areas of Jeonbuk, Chungnam, Gyeonggi-do, and Incheon, were lifted around 8 p.m.
