The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Scientific Investigation Team will hold a joint inspection with about 10 people, including fire officials and the National Forensic Service, at the factory in Wanggil-dong, Incheon, from 10:30 a.m. today.
Police plan to find out the cause of the fire and how the fire spread, focusing on the initial ignition point.
Earlier, at around 8:40 a.m. yesterday (20th), a fire broke out at an industrial machinery manufacturing plant in Wanggil-dong, Incheon, and about 90 residents were evacuated, and about 30 factories and 70 buildings were burned.
At the time of the fire, strong winds caused the fire to spread quickly around, prompting fire authorities to issue a second stage of response at one point, and put out all the fire in 11 hours.
