The People's Power criticized the Democratic Party's push for an outdoor rally in opposition to the prosecution's non-prosecution of Kim Gun-hee as an attempt to water down the court ruling of representative Lee Jae-myung.

Supreme Council member Kim Jong-hyuk said, "It is possible for the socially weak to protest in a democratic society, but the Democratic Party, which occupies an overwhelming majority in the National Assembly, is the weak."

He then accused the party that controls the parliament of mobilizing its people and supporters on the streets of North Korea's Labor Party, Russia's Putin's party, and Hitler's party in the past.

Supreme Council member Kim Jae-won also said that Lee will be sentenced to nullification of his election for violating the election law next month and a heavy sentence for the perjury teacher case, adding that the outdoor rally is trying to overcome this situation with the impeachment of President Yoon.

Spokesman Chung Kwang-jae also issued a comment, saying that it was no different from the declaration that he would be bulletproof outside, citing the disposition of Kim's innocence as the reason for the outdoor struggle, but pointed out that the reality is that he is trying to pressure the prosecution and the judiciary by attracting public opinion.
