The Seoul Central District Court ruled today (22nd) that Choi lost the plaintiff in a 200 million won damages lawsuit filed against former special prosecutor Park Young-soo, former special prosecutor Lee Kyu-chul, and the special prosecutor team at the time.
Choi filed a lawsuit two years ago, claiming that he suffered losses due to the special prosecutor's team's false press briefing on tablet PCs, including being unjustly imprisoned.The special prosecution team of
"Political manipulation" named Choi as the owner of the tablet PC submitted by Choi's nephew, Jang Si-ho, in January 2017, and Choi has been insisting on a manipulation investigation, saying it does not belong to him.
Choi also filed a lawsuit for return, saying he would self-verify that the tablet PC did not belong to him, but the court ruled in favor of Choi, and the prosecution returned the tablet PC to Choi in January.
