The Korea Consumer Agency conducted quality and stability tests on foam rollers, which are widely used as home training products, and found that no dangerous substances were detected, but did not indicate caution about falls.

The Korea Consumer Agency said heavy metals and phthalate plasticizers were not detected in the foam rollers of 20 types of products under inspection.

However, 90% of products have no warning signs to prevent child accidents, so they have asked for improvement.

In the past three years, there have been a total of 18 slip and bump accidents related to foam rollers registered in the Consumer Risk Monitoring System (CISS), of which 15 are related to children under the age of 13 and require attention.
