Hezbollah, a pro-Iranian militant group in Lebanon, has claimed it is the main agent of the attack targeting the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"We declare full and exclusive responsibility for the 'Operation Kaisarea' targeting Netanyahu," Hezbollah's chief spokesman Muhammad Afif told a news conference in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon, on the 22nd local time.

On the 19th, Netanyahu's home in Caesaria, a coastal city north of Tel Aviv, Israel, was partially damaged by a drone attack.

At the time, Netanyahu and his wife were not home, so no casualties were reported.

Regarding the Israeli military bombing of Hezbollah-linked financial institutions since the 20th, senior spokesman Afif also claimed that "we have taken all precautions in anticipation of such an attack."

"We will do everything necessary to fulfill our obligations to depositors," he stressed.

It also noted that some Hezbollah members had been captured by Israeli forces, saying, "I know Israel does not abide by its war ethics and international agreements, but it has a responsibility to protect the lives of prisoners."
