Last week, it was belatedly revealed that a drone launched by Lebanon's pro-Iranian militant group Hezbollah exploded in a bedroom window at the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to local media such as the Times of Israel, the Israeli military lifted censorship of images containing damage to the site on the 22nd, three days after Netanyahu's home in Caesaria, a coastal city north of Tel Aviv, Israel, was attacked by a drone on the 19th.

Some of the videos and photos released show that the exterior window of the prime minister's home's bedroom was shocked, with white cracks and small holes in some places.

When the drone exploded, some broken pieces of glass fell on the home yard and swimming pool, but the window did not appear to have been completely broken thanks to several protections, local media explained.

Two of the three drones flown from Lebanon were shot down at the time, but the other disappeared from Israeli military radars.

It was also found that the drone did not sound an air raid warning in the area of Caesar until it flew to the prime minister's home.

Netanyahu and his wife were not at home during the raid and no other casualties were reported.

Hezbollah, meanwhile, said it "declares full and exclusive responsibility for the 'Operation Kaisarea' targeting Netanyahu" and confirmed it was the subject of the drone attack.
