According to the data received by Kim Young-ho of the Democratic Party of Korea from 17 offices of education nationwide, 3,977,700 digital devices were distributed to elementary, middle and high schools nationwide, while only 756 people managed the devices.
Daejeon has to manage 38,000 units per person, and Chungnam and Jeonbuk have 22,000 units each.
Due to the lack of maintenance personnel, computer and information teachers are even in charge of repairing broken devices at school sites.
