The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said that raw onions from Taylor Farms were recently identified as the cause of McDonald's hamburger food poisoning in the United States, and that the agricultural products have not been imported into Korea in the past two years.
On the 22nd, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that more than 40 people in 10 U.S. states showed symptoms of food poisoning, one of them died, and most of the patients ate certain hamburgers at McDonald's.
