Korea Electric Power Corporation has been shortlisted for Saudi Arabia's renewable energy project, which has a project cost of 3 trillion won.

KEPCO has been confirmed as a final candidate for three projects, including al-Sadawi, among four solar projects for the fifth national energy program announced by the Saudi Electricity Procurement Corporation.

Saudi solar projects are worth 3.30 trillion won with four projects, and if each project is successful, it will be responsible for construction and operation.

If KEPCO succeeds in winning this order, it will be the first time to operate a solar power business in the Middle East.
