The Fair Trade Commission said it will sanction nine companies, including Daelim Batos, Hanssem and Jaesung Bathwell, for colluding in 114 bids for system bathroom installation projects ordered by 52 construction companies over the past seven years from 2015.
These companies, which make up most of the domestic system bathroom market, agreed on the prospective successful bidders, best man participants, and bidding prices in advance.
The FTC said the move is the second time it has taken action against responding to internal construction of apartments following the bid for built-in special sales households in April, adding that it will strengthen monitoring of close areas of people's livelihoods.
