The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education said today that 117,743 people will take the CSAT next year, up 3,311 from a year ago.
Among the examinees, the proportion of enrolled students increased slightly from the previous year to 53.6%, with 42.9% of graduates and 3.5% of GEDs.
There are four test sites for students with motor disorders such as sight, hearing, and brain lesions, and 12 juvenile prisoners will be tested in a separate test room in the Nambu Prison following last year.
The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education operates 4,218 test rooms in 11 test districts and 226 schools, with 9,290 related personnel planning to help facilitate the CSAT.
The CSAT examiners will put a unique serial number on their name tags instead of their names, and after a parent threatened a supervisor last year for detecting his child's cheating on the CSAT, they came up with such measures to prevent a recurrence.
