Ahead of next week's presidential election, Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned at the site where Trump incited a congressional riot four years ago.

He stressed that if Trump retakes the White House, American democracy will be threatened.

Vice President Harris on the campaign trail at the site where Trump, who lost the presidential election four years ago, incited a congressional riot.

He warned of a dark future in which Trump's return to power would lead to wealth, stressing that it was time to usher in a new era.

[CAMALA HARRIS / VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES] We must stop pointing fingers at each other and put our arms around each other now. It's time to turn the page on drama and conflict.

Ellips Park, where the Harris campaign event is taking place behind me, is right in front of the White House and if you follow this path, you'll see Congress.

In order to emphasize that democracy will be threatened if Trump takes the White House again, he chose this place in the middle of American politics as a campaign site.

Harris has also highlighted her distinction from Trump in economic and foreign policy.

In particular, he said that Putin and Kim Jong-un want Trump to be elected because it is easy to use.

Top pop stars Beyoncé and former President Obama are also actively supporting them, helping them gather last-minute votes.
