Park Kyung-seok, the head of the National Coalition for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities, and others, who were arrested by the police for obstructing the operation of buses in downtown Seoul, won some of the lawsuits against the state.

The Seoul Central District Court ruled partially in favor of the plaintiff, asking Park to pay 7 million won and 3 million won to A in a damage suit filed by Park and her activity supporter A against the state.

The court did not explain the specific reason for the judgment in court.

In a press conference immediately after the sentence, the federation said it had put a brake on the police's misconduct that arrested them even though they did not meet the requirements, and hoped to take measures to prevent a recurrence. After blocking a city bus at a bus stop in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul in July last year, CEO Park
was arrested and released the next day.

At that time, the activity supporter A was also arrested, and afterwards, the institute filed a lawsuit claiming that he was illegally detained for more than 21 hours after completing the investigation.
