It will have no choice but to affect the trials of other lawmakers who received money envelopes with former lawmaker Yoon, right?

Yes, the Supreme Court's judgment is interpreted as acknowledging the admissibility of the transcript of the former Democratic Party Secretary-General Lee Jung-geun, which was the beginning of the money envelope case.

Former lawmaker Yoon was found to have delivered envelopes of 3 million won each to members of the same party.

Former lawmakers Lee Sung-man and Lim Jong-sung and Heo Jong-sik of the Democratic Party of Korea were sentenced to suspended prison sentences in the first trial for receiving money envelopes, and are now on trial at an appeals court.

Former CEO Song Young-gil is also scheduled to make a decision next month, and the first trial is expected to be sentenced as early as this year.

The prosecution is continuing its investigation into the alleged receipt of money envelopes.

Six active lawmakers have been notified to attend by the middle of next month.

The prosecution says that since former lawmaker Yoon has been convicted, a face-to-face investigation of other lawmakers is needed for a thorough investigation.
