A Palestinian paramedic sobbed when he realized the deceased was his mother while transporting the body of a woman killed in an Israeli attack.

According to the Associated Press on the 31st (local time), Bardini, who works as a paramedic in Gaza, was dispatched to central Gaza, where Israeli forces attacked the day before, and collected the dead body at the scene with his colleagues.

He loaded the bloodied body covered in a white cloth into an ambulance and headed to the martyr's hospital about 2 kilometers away.

When he arrived at the hospital and medics raised a white cloth to identify the deceased, Bardini was shocked and saddened.

This is because the body he collected was his mother.

"I didn't know it was my mother," Bardini sobbed next to the body.

Samira, 61, the mother of the deceased Bardini, is believed to have died when Israeli forces attacked a vehicle near the Magazi refugee camp on the 30th of last month.

At that time, three people were killed in the attack and at least 10 were reportedly injured.

The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the raid. The Israeli military has insisted that it tries not to harm civilians by conducting precision airstrikes targeting Palestinian militants, but such airstrikes have killed civilians one after another.
