The Seoul Metropolitan Government, which started the project in 2015, has donated 178,000 pieces, including furniture and home appliances, from 14 hotels over 10 years and distributed 117,000 pieces to 2,200 places, including dosshouses, homeless shelters, and rental houses.
The city and 24 hotels have also decided to discuss ways to support jobs based on the working ability of low-income families in the future.
